Mr. Cantrell is the owner of Cantrell Legal PC, and has practiced law in South Carolina for almost 30 years.  He is currently the SC state chair for NACBA, and has been a member since 2006.  He is admitted to state and federal courts, including bankruptcy and district courts in SC, and to the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals.  His practice includes representing consumer debtors in bankruptcy court, and also representing consumers in state and federal courts regarding debt collection defense, including foreclosure defense and credit card collection defense.  He is a graduate of 7 of Max Gardner's Boot Camps, including ones on bankruptcy, the UCC, residential mortgage securitization, and debt buyer litigation.  He is also a member of NACA, and has spoken previously for NACBA, NACA, and SC bankruptcy and legal aid groups.  When not having fun fighting creditors, he enjoys travel, especially cruises and scuba diving, and is a volunteer interpreter for the deaf and assistant Sunday school teacher in his church
